SLU Faculty/Staff Fee:
First counseling session is complimentary
$50.00 for each additional appointment
(one hour sessions only)
$15.00 for each requested assessment
Non-SLU student / Non-Alumni Fee:
$75.00 for each session - one hour only

Making
Career Services offers a one-credit hour class to assist students in the career exploration process. It is offered in an eight-week format during both the fall and spring semesters.
Career Decision Making is recommended to freshman and sophomores who are unsure about their major or career direction.

Assessments may be utilized as you go through the career decision-making process to help you learn more about yourself.
CAREER SERVICES OFFERS THE FOLLOWING ASSESSMENTS :
1. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI):
This personality assessment is used to help students and alumni understand their individual personality type and can help point you in some possible career directions.
2. Strong Interest Survey:
This assessment helps to identify interest areas and compares your interests with individuals working in various career fields.
3. The Campbell Interest & Skill Survey This assessment is designed to survey self-reported interests and skill. Its major purpose is to help students and alumni understand how their interest and skills map into the occupational world. |
