What Are Career Assessments?

Career assessments are designed to help individuals learn about themselves. With this information, individuals can make an informed career decision. The results of your assessment will not make the decision for you or tell you what career is right for you. Think of assessments as tools that provide additional means of guidance in your career decision-making process.

All assessments will be interpreted by your Career Counselor based on your individual situation. If you are interested in taking an assessment, please call our office to make an appointment, as an appointment is required for those interested in completing any assessment.

This personality assessment is used to help students and alumni understand their individual personality type and can help point you in some possible career directions.

  2. Strong Interest Survey:
This assessment helps to identify interest areas and compares your interests with individuals working in various career fields.

  3. The Campbell Interest & Skill Survey:
This assessment is designed to survey self-reported interests and skill. Its major purpose is to help students and alumni understand how their interest and skills map into the occupational world.
