Career Exploration

Take the time to create a Career Exploration Profile. In it you will have:

  • your name/address/phone/e-mail
  • a brief summary of your background and goals, what markets you are targeting and
    what occupations you are targeting
  • create another list of your Target Organizations with your name/address/phone/e-mail then a brief summary of your background and goals with 30 companies you want to learn more about

 

You can always subtract or add to your list as you network.

Now you're ready to show both documents to everyone you know...your relatives, your friends, your professors, your next door neighbor, etc. Not only will you generate leads, but you are also enlisting your immediate sphere of influence to be on the look out for information for you.
