On-Campus Recruiting
Experiential
Learning
(internships) programs
give you the opportunity to put the theory you have learned in the
classroom to work on the job and gain career-related experience. As
you identify possible careers and begin learning about them, internships
and coops, the most common forms of experiential learning, can be
an important part of the exploration process.
An information session is hosted by a company and provides company information
to candidates. Companies usually hold information sessions prior to their on-campus interviews. These sessions may be the evening before
interviews or a couple of weeks before interviews. During the session company representatives will give an overview of the company, specific
information about positions they are interviewing for an answer candidate questions.
