Beginning the Job Search
Many of you may ask how do I generate leads? Obviously calling a stranger without an introduction is one way, and contacting strangers from company directories (cold calling) will work with enough volume and tenacity; but another way is through the power of networking. You could probably come up with a list of 100 people you personally know, maybe more. If you tell them you're looking for an internship or if you tell them you'll be graduating soon and you're looking for work, that's way too vague for anyone to help you.

Job Search Essential Course

  • Gain a deeper understanding of yourself and the world of work
  • Identify your value, personality type, interests, and skills
  • Become familiar with a variety of career-related resources
  • Understand the process of career development
